Native IPv6 firewall hanya di dukung di versi kernel 2.4+. Di kernel lama 2.2- kita hanya dapat memfilter IPv6-in-IPv4 menggunakan protocol 41.

Since kernel version 2.6.20 IPv6 connection tracking is fully working (and does not break IPv4 NAT anymore like versions before)
