Memasukan Image OpenWRT ke VirtualBox
- New
- Name OpenWRTx > Type Linux > Version Other 32bit
- Hard drive > use an existing virtual hard drive file > select
- pilih "openwrt.....-ext4.vdi"
- Jalankan VirtualBox OpenWRT
Memasukan Image OpenWRT ke GNS3
Kita Perlu mengaktifkan semua mesin / router virtual yang ada di VirtualBox agar dikenali oleh GNS3.
Untuk masing-masing mesin virtual yang akan digunakan di GNS3, kita perlu aktifkan melalui cara berikut
- Nyalakan terlebih dulu Aplikasi VirtualBox
- Nyalakan semua router & mesin virtual yang akan kita gunakan di VirtualBox.
- Klik Edit > Preferences > VirtualBox > VirtualBox Guest
- Klik "Refresh VM List"
Setting VirtualBox Guest, ini harus sesuai antara GNS3 dengan VirtualBox. Misalnya:
VirtualBox Guest Settings
- Identifier name: openwrt1
- VM List: openwrt1 (pilih dari pilihan VM yang sedang berjalan di VirtualBox)
- Number of NICs: 5 (pilih sebanyak NIC yang kita aktifkan saat membuat mesin virtual di VirtualBox "plus" satu)
- NIC Mode: automatic
- (centang) Reverse first NIC for VirtualBox NAT to host OS
- (centang) Enable console support
- (centang) Enable console server (for remote access)
- untuk OpenWRT Image: (centang) Start in headless mode (without GUI)
- untuk Ubuntu Image: (JANGAN CENTANG) Start in headless mode (without GUI) <-- PERHATIKAN JANGAN DICENTANG!!
- (centang) Show Advance Options
- Klik "Save"
Mesin yang sudah aktif dan dapat digunakan ada dalam daftar
VirtualBox Virtual Machines
Jika belum ada, tekan tombol "Refresh VM List"
