For a girl who does not usually like animal prints, I was ridiculously excited for these Muranos.  Ever since the pictures were first leaked on the main [http://www.jewelrypandorabraceletssale.com/ pandora jewelry] website, I could not wait to see these in person.  As soon as my store got them, I rushed out to pick up a couple.  I ended up only getting two that day, the giraffe and the siberian tiger, but I couldn’t wait to get more so the weekend after, I purchased the masai giraffe and the zebra print Muranos.  You might be able to tell that the coloring is more a purple black than a true black, this is especially obvious with the zebra print but it’s nowhere near as purple as the limited edition bead.

I was happy to hand pick these bracelets, but I waited until Perlen got them in stock to finish off my collection; at a savings of $55/bracelet, I could afford to wait for the other 5 since I have no plans for them yet.  I just got my package and can I say, I’m pleased as punch to have the whole set!  I’m speculating that these will be available for a limited time, and probably won’t be a permanent part of the [http://www.jewelrypandorabraceletssale.com/ pandora bracelet] collection which is one reason why I’ve been so keen to get them all.  And just a couple days ago, I found out about the purple zebra print limited edition Murano which I’m desperate to get my hands on!

But these are worth getting all on their own, the glasswork is fantastic!  With the exception of the giraffe prints, all the other colors are wrapped around the core with a clear layer of glass overlaid on top.  The first thing that struck me about these Muranos, as I mentioned in my previous article, is how very different each print is from others of the same type.  Right out of the box, I noticed that my clouded leopard was the one that was the most deviated from the others I’ve seen – the spots are actually yellow instead of brown!  Seems like a pretty big variation to me and not one I was particularly happy with until I found out recently that these are being recalled due to the yellow spots; now I’m pretty excited to have one of the rare yellow-spotted leopard prints.  So with the addition of the this yellow spotted leopard print and the print zebra print, there will be 11 total bracelets for this collection.

The other curious thing I noticed about the animal print Muranos that I handled and bought in my local Concept store is that all the cores have the old hallmarks, without the “S” (this is the same thing I noticed with my looking glass Muranos). My educated guess is that these cores were part of bracelets that were retired, returned to the factory, and recycled for the new collection. What is fascinating is that all the bracelets I ordered from Perlen have the new hallmarks which include the “S”.
